Kingstec Annual Report

In September, there was an intake of 25 new two year on-line apprenticeship model students from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador. Although there is not a scheduled intake in September 2014, I have prepared a briefing note to submit to the Board of Governors to request approval for a 2014 intake based on need and interest.

Four students who started the program prior to September 2013, have just met the graduation requirements for the diploma program – one from Newfoundland, two from New Brunswick and one from Nova Scotia.

Although the new program(s), Funeral and Allied Health Services diploma and Funeral Arranging and Directing Certificate are now delivered solely on-line, both the programs and faculty will continue to be connected to the Kingstec Campus.
